It’s been a while since the last time I made a blogpost about my new travel adventure. Last week together with my brothers in Freemasonry traveled towards Grand Lodge of the Philippines and Scottish Rite Temple at Ermita Manila. After which we decided to take our lunch, while on our way home we are thinking on what restaurant to eat. But my brother from Bureau of Custom Police suggested a canteen called “PARES” along N.S. Amoranto Sr. Ave corner Dr. Alejos St, Laloma Q.C .near Caltex Station. This is quite a change in our usual lunch out and he said that this place is popular in Laloma. I thought that this canteen is same as the others “Pares” Canteen. How would I know if it is different from any other Pares that I have tasted if I would not try it? So together with Bro. Jay (BOC Police) and Bro. Nelson (PNP), we headed towards the said food place.
When we arrived at the place, what caught my attention were people eating and cars which were parked in that place, there are plenty of them! It took us 30mins to look for seats! I was amazed how people take their lunch, it’s like fast and the furious. Everyone one moved in a hurried pace, they eat fast and once they are done, they would immediately leave. Based on my estimated time, a person eats and moves out of that place within 10mins.
I guess they serve good food based on the people patronizing the place. So we ordered, 4Pares with 4 extra rice of course, 2 Bulalo and 1 Buttered Chicken.
After 2minutes our orders were served on our table, so fast! We started taking lunch and unlike with others we really took our time in eating. Once we have finished our meals, we stayed for more 10mins to relax and then take our journey towards Pampanga. On our way home, all of us fell at sleep on the car, LOL! Nice one! That’s better when you have a private driver.
So for you Guys out there if you are looking for a good food if you are along Laloma and A. Bonifacio, rather than eating in a fast food chain, try the “PARES” along N.S. Amoranto Sr. Ave corner Dr. Alejos St, Laloma Q.C . The food is great, with big servings too!
