The Island of Camiguin is one of the major tourist destinations in the Philippines. In exploring the island, one will never run out of things to do and beauty of nature to appreciate. Once you are in Camiguin you would not even think of using those roller blind in your hotel room. The scenery and landscapes are simply magnificent and you would not get tired of looking at them.
During a visit to Camiguin, one should never miss going to these places:
The Sunken Cemetery – a large cross is the remaining landmark of the old capital of Camiguin before a volcanic eruption took place and hide away its old capital.
The Mt. Hibok-hibok – if you are a seasoned climber, you will definitely appreciate the heights of this lone active volcano in Camiguin.
The Ardent Hot Springs is considered as one of the major tourists attractions in the island of Camiguin. This is a government owned place so it is quite affordable to take a dip in the therapeutic water of hot springs.
Katibawasan Falls – the water cascades to the rock pool at around 250 ft in height. The falls is also surrounded by wild orchids and ferns.
There are also a lot of souvenir shops where you can get items that would remind you of your trip to Camiguin.
The Island of Camiguin is blessed with such natural beauty, hence a lot of people would definitely come again to Camiguin.
