Wifey is trying to lose weight (for the nth time), and I wish to help her out in her goal. I hope she succeeds this time
Actually, she can easily lose weight if she wanted to, but the problem is her method is not correct. She starves herself to death! I told her not to worry about her weight, but since she is into losing weight again- the least I can do it to support her.
I checked on the internet for some simple recipes that I can personally prepare for her. She can’t live without her carbonated soda, so I thought of finding a healthier alternative .
Iced Green Tea with Ginger and Honey
Ingredients
- 6 pcs Green Tea Bags
- 6 cups of water
- 1 2-inch slice of Ginger
- 6 tsp of Honey
- Dash of Fresh Lemon Juice(optional)
Procedure
- In a deep saucepan, pour the water with the ginger and bring it to a boil.
- Take the water off the heat, put in the green tea bags and allow them to steep for about 10 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags and mix in the honey thoroughly.
- Strain the water into a large jug and allow it to cool.
- Once chilled, pour into a cup, add a dash of lemon juice if you wish, put in some ice cubes, and garnish with fresh mint leaves. Enjoy!
