San Marino is considered as the oldest republic in the world. It is also known as the Most Serene Republic of San Marino. It is predominantly a Catholic state. When it comes to tourism, there are so many places to explore in this small republic.
A trip to San Marino would not be complete without visiting the churches like the San Marino Basilica.
This church was built in the early XIX and inside the Basilica are priceless paintings and statues.
Another good place to check out in San Marino is the so called Public Palace. It is were the people of the government of San Marino convenes. The neo-gothic structure of the Public Palace is the architectural masterpiece of Francesco Azzurri.
There are so many activities to enjoy in San Marino. A tourist would not only feast at the wonderful sights to see but also there are lavish menus to enjoy in various restaurants of San Marino.
But do not forget to take extra caution when traveling to unfamiliar places. Be alert on what is happening around you but do not be too paranoid either.
