Breathtaking Bohol

by joeyyp on January 29, 2011

This is the reverse side of the new 200 peso bill in the Philippines. It featured the breathtaking province of Bohol. This action was done in order to promote the beautiful tourist spots in Bohol. Aside from taking a dive in beautiful beach resorts of Bohol, there are still a lot of things to do like:

  • Visiting the Hinagdanan Cave, you need to climb up and down the steep stairs in order to get inside the cave. Be prepared for bats because you will encounter a lot of them on your way to the cave. You may want to take a dive in the water but be extra careful because it is deep.

  • Experience being entertained by the famous Loboc singers while enjoying the buffet served on the floating restaurant in Loboc River.

  • The beauty of Chocolate hills is definitely breathtaking. Their color is luscious green but by the end of dry season, it turns into brown. There are around 1268 mole hills found in Bohol.

  • The smallest primate in the world is found in the province of Bohol. There are different places in Bohol where you can get the chance to see this small creature called Tarsier.

These are some of the things that you can do in the province of Bohol. One day trip is not enough to enjoy this beautiful province.
